What diagnoses do we service?

ABOUT ME:

Courtney Mapp discovered her passion over 15 years ago in Massachusetts. Her love for children began while working with children diagnosed with the rarest of diagnoses in the world. These children had varying abilities and she quickly learned that the challenge of helping a child understand something that others view as simple is gratifying beyond words.

Prior to graduating with a Master of Science in Occupational Therapy, she serviced New York City families as a Nanny. She developed an appreciation for working in the unique environment of a home. She enjoys collaborating with parents and caretakers alike and recognizes that collaboration is essential to success in the life of a child. Her experience as a nanny, specifically in NYC, helped further develop the importance of kindergarten readiness.

Courtney is certified in Handwriting Without Tears. She has completed level 1 and 2 of The Collaborative for Leadership in Ayres Sensory Integration® (CLASI). Additionally, she is certified in The Zones of Regulation.

Courtney lives in New York City with her husband and their two french bulldogs.

  • First, we listen to the concerns of the parents.

We listen carefully because we believe that parents know what is best for their children. We combine their concerns with therapy that is client centered and empowering.

    That combination is transformative.
